It has a profound impact on our thoughts, emotions, and actions. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in how we cope with stress, form relationships, and make positive choices. Mental health is vital throughout all stages of life, from childhood to adulthood.  Unfortunately, mental health often goes unnoticed due to the stigma surrounding mental illness. Many people view it as a sign of weakness, believing that if one cannot simply "snap out of it," there must be something wrong with them.  One of our deepest desires, which we may not even fully realize, is for others to acknowledge our emotions. We long for our suffering to be understood, our anxieties to be recognized, and our sadness to be validated. We don't necessarily expect others to agree with every feeling we have, but we crave their validation. When we're consumed by anger, we want someone to acknowledge that we're feeling overwhelmed and that our internal world must be in chaos. When we're feeling down, we want someone to understand our unusual sadness and empathize with the reasons behind it. And when we reach our breaking point, we yearn for someone to gently acknowledge that it has all become too much for us, recognizing our struggle and offering support.
